BIG NEWS – PARENTCAMP IS GOING VIRTUAL WITH VIRTUAL PARENTCAMP!

We are excited to share big news with you, ParentCamp is going Virtual! We will be connecting parents, teachers, administrators, business and community members, anyone who plays a role in a child’s live together EACH week.
In these times where we are all starting to feel disconnected, we need opportunities to connect. That is what ParentCamp is all about, being connected, supportive and learn from each other. We have been using Zoom technology for quite some time now and we have figured out how to bring as close to as a ParentCamp experience to you as we can during physical distancing.
Each Wednesday night starting at 8:30 pm ET (note an earlier time) and going for 1 hour, we will be having a weekly Virtual ParentCamp! Just as in a face-to-face ParentCamp, YOU will get to suggest the sessions each week (normally topics need to be submitted by Saturday at noon, but this week it will be Sunday at noon), we will arrange the facilitators, you will join us on Zoom, you pick the session you wish to attend, law of two feet (or mouse clicks) still apply, you can leave the room and join another if you wish. It is going to be great!

If you are like me, (this is Julie, a parent) I am feeling disconnected. The teachers and students are doing a great job of staying connected each day, teachers and administrators are staying connected, but I as a parent am really only receiving one way communication. We are NOT at all complaining, teachers and administrators have had their hands full this week and are doing an AMAZING job! But parents need two way connections also, so we are stepping up to fill this gap.
